About me

My path to becoming a psychologist began in the U.K, where I earned my B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Leicester. Following graduation I moved back to Sweden and continued my eduction from here. In 2011 I graduated from Örebro University with a Master's degree in Psychology. The training programme at Örebro University gave me a firm understanding of the basics in theory and practice of the major schools of psychotherapy, including CBT (Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy), Psychodynamic, Existential/Humanistic and Cognitive Therapy. Today, I work primarily with Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). To learn more about ISTDP visit the ISTDP Institute or ISTDP Sweden.

I received my license to practice from Socialstyrelsen in 2012 after working under supervision for a year at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service (Kriminalvården). After 4.5 yrs working at Kriminalvården I started my private practice which I now run fulltime.

I offer my skills and services in the field of psychotherapy. I also offer therapy in a number of different languages, ofcourse including Swedish and English, but also Persian (farsi) and Kurdish (sorani). The length of therapy depends on your needs and wishes. Each session lasts up to 45min.
